Like Dr. Frankenstein, designer Christine Young fashions organic life out of inanimate metal with Young Frankk Jewelry. Graduating from Parson School of Design for Illustration, Young began transmuting her line work expertise into ornamental wear just last year. Out of her studio in Richmond, VA, Young tinkers and toils making each piece herself to create one-of-a-kind pieces, sold locally and abroad. Graphic minimalism and natural simplicity bring brass and copper materials vibrancy, composing well-crafted contemporary jewelry that will be the perfect accent to any neutral wardrobe. No doubt that there is a trend in this kind of metalwork, but something sets the Young Frankk brand apart. Perhaps it’s the bold and clever presentations Young designs for her lookbook, or perhaps it’s the spirit infused into handmade creations.
