Entering the Oxford Exchange restaurant is somewhat of an out of body experience. It is hard to believe that such a beautiful, well-crafted space lies tucked away in downtown Tampa. Between the black and white photos lining the walls to the geometric tiled floors, it is a place of elegance and quality design. Not only is the interior worthy of a visit , the menu is full of selections for any palate. The day begins with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and ends with afternoon tea and lite fare at 5. They are known for new additions to their menu such as the avocado toast and kale scramble, all dishes that are sure to make your Instagram followers envious. Oxford Exchange's gift shop is curated with picks from Rifle Paper Co., House of Lavande and Elizabeth and James jewelry. The bookstore at the front of the establishment also contains beautiful displays featuring the most recent bestsellers. Next time you’re in Florida for a beach vacation, make sure to take a detour through Tampa and visit this one of a kind space.
